Barefoot Services often offer a stop en route to the final destination, at one of these locations: Marie Sharp’s Fine Foods, The Inland Blue Hole, Lamanai Chocolate, or Belize Zoo. Guests pay entrance fee where applicable. Stops are no more than 1 hour and always depend on the time of departure from the Belize International Airport (BZE). You can ask for more information about this. Of course, they make stops for bathroom breaks, a meal and/or grocery pick up as well. An icebox for drinks is always onboard.
Auto Rentals
Auto rentals are most often recommended to travelers who want to leave the Placencia area and go sightseeing at the Jaguar Reserve or take the unbeaten path to Red Bank or embrace the vibrant culture of Hopkins. With not many vehicles on the roads of Belize, it is very simple and easy to get around. We encourage clients to take Auto rentals only when it is absolutely necessary. Having a limited number of car rentals, SUV rentals and auto rentals in general, it is always wise to book in advance as rentals are booked out pretty easily. A minimum number of 2 days rental is required for advance bookings.

Golf Cart Rentals
For Placencia Peninsula Use Only
A golf rental is part of the “Placencia experience”. Enjoy the village life as you take a personal tour of the many restaurants, beach bars, souvenir shops, art galleries, neighborhoods and a whole lot more along the Placencia Peninsula. Golf carts are fun, and allow you to move at a much slower pace. Golf Carts are the not-in-a- rush kind of rental.
